Privacy policy

This policy describes the current public version of getwellplain.com, including its privacy-conscious first-party traffic measurement.

Information currently collected by Wellplain

Wellplain does not currently create visitor accounts. When you submit the free-guide form, we store your email address, the form source, submission times, and submission count so we can manage the request and notify the Wellplain team. The address is not added to a marketing list unless you provide separate permission.

Hosting and security data

Our hosting and security providers may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, browser and device information, request time, requested URL, and security cookies. Their processing is governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

Email notifications

We use Resend as a transactional email provider to notify the Wellplain team about new guide requests. Resend receives the submitted address and the information needed to deliver that notification. We do not use notification emails for behavioral tracking.

First-party analytics

Wellplain records page paths, approximate sessions, referring domain, browser and operating-system family, broad device category, preferred language, approximate country, region, and city supplied by our hosting provider, campaign tags, and selected actions such as calculator completion or guide download. We do not store raw IP addresses, full user-agent strings, email addresses, or full referring URLs in the analytics database. Guide-request email addresses are stored separately from analytics events.

A random session identifier is stored in session storage and normally disappears when the browser session ends. It is not used to build a persistent cross-site profile. For aggregate visit counts, the server converts the request IP and user-agent into a site-specific hash that rotates daily; the raw values are not written to analytics storage. Browsers that send a “Do Not Track” signal are excluded from this first-party tracking.

Advertising

Wellplain does not currently operate Google Analytics, AdSense, behavioral advertising, or third-party marketing pixels. If these services are introduced, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before activation.

Affiliate links

When affiliate links are added, the destination retailer may use cookies or similar technology to attribute purchases. See our affiliate disclosure and the destination service’s privacy policy before purchasing.

Data choices

You may ask us to access or delete a guide-request email record by contacting 2162788@gmail.com. Browser controls can remove cookies set by hosting or security providers.
